New PowaKaddy Freeway 2 Golf Trolley

The lead brand in electric golf trolleys, Powakaddy, has introduced their new state of the art electric golf trolley, the Powakaddy Freeway 2. Targeted for an April 2009 release, the new Freeway 2 is a golfers dream.

This new Powakaddy Freeway 2, which replaced the best selling Freeway trolley, features a new sleek design, ultra lightweight motor and a huge range of new features.

The best bits of the new trolley is the technology involved, it features a soft touch grip, multi functional control pad and an LCD screen which work together to help the golfer. The LCD screen features a Distance Measuring Facility which can calculate how far you hit the ball and the total distance travelled in the round.

The screen also features a Digital Distance Function which allows the golfer to set the trolley to continue forward for 10, 20 or 30 yards/meters before stopping.

As well as all those great features, the multi functional LCD screen will also display current travelling speed, time and remaining battery power.

The Powakaddy Freeway 2 Battery

The Freeway 2 features an ultra lightweight lithium battery which is 75% lighter than a standard acid battery. You can also choose between a 18 or 36 hole traditional lead acid battery. All of these batteries are attached to the ultra lightweight aluminium frame which has the ability to be folded and packed away effortlessly.

Powakaddy Freeway 2 Release Date

It really does seem that PowaKaddy are the lead brand in making electric golf trolleys and it seems that they will be attracting some attention from their rival golf trolley manufacturers, however, while the competitors try and think up a better idea, the new PowaKaddy golf trolley seems like the golfers dream and is set for release in April 2009, it will retail for around £650.
